There have been many exercises that we
have done for this class. Some of the exercises were more beneficial to me and
interesting than others. The two exercises that were more beneficial to me were
the relaxation exercise and the loving kindness exercise. The relaxation exercise
was able to get me to relax like really relax like I have never been able to
do. The loving kindness exercise showed me how to get past my problems with
others and be able to be at ease and peace even if the person has just made me
really mad. I would love to do both of the exercises every day. In order for me
to do that I will have to take time out of my day (probably right before I go
to bed) specifically for that and not plan anything else around that time. I will
also have to find a quiet place to do these exercises at. The time thing is
just the hardest part for me since I don’t have a set schedule at work but I will
be working on finding time to do these exercises.
Hello Margaret! I can really relate to not having enough time to do the exercises. At the beginning of trying to do these exercises daily I went throught the same obstacle. I learned that the Subtle Mind and Integral Assessment was very beneficial to me because it made me even more productive throughout my day. I try to do the exercises in the morning and during the middle of the day to get me through the rest of my day.
ReplyDeleteI also have a lot of trouble trying to find the time. Not that I can not take 5 min out of my day to try some of the exercises, but it is hard for me to find the time when I can actually set quietly by myself without my kids being all over me. However, when I do find the time I do find some of these exercises to be beneficial.
ReplyDeleteHello Margaret, I can join the crowd of not having enough time to exercise. I have set goals for myself that includes a schedule for exercise. I also stop at work and take my medications as prescribed. I plan to continue to meditate in the evenings. I am so glad that I took this class.
